Silk Scarves inspired by the beauty of New Zealand’s Native Ferns

Did you know New Zealand has over 200 different types of native fern species?
40% of them occur nowhere else in the world.

Trees that Count

I am delighted to announce that I have teamed up with
Trees that Count’ a conservation charity bringing together community, business, and every day Kiwis with the vision of planting 200 million native trees across the country.

This charity’s values align very closely with my own, as nature conservation is a topic that is dear to my heart. I feel a strong connection to the natural world, shaped by my upbringing on remote Scottish Isles. I owe this deep appreciation and wonder of nature to my father and his devotion to conservation. From an early age, I was introduced to the critical importance of protecting our natural world and this love of nature has led me to deepen my own passion for conservation. It felt fitting therefore that with my first collection of silk scarves, inspired by the beauty of New Zealand’s endemic ferns, to give back to our natural world by donating funds towards a much needed conservation project here in New Zealand.

For every full-sized silk scarf purchased through my website, I will donate $10.00 to Trees that Count. Trees cost $10.00 each so for every purchase made, together we will be able to fund the cost of planting one native tree, support the valuable work started by this amazing charity and continue to combat climate change and protect our beautiful landscapes, waterways and forests for future generations!
